How to Sync a Device in Intune on PC
There are two methods for syncing Intune policies on your PC: Through the Company Portal app or through Windows Account Settings.
1st Method: Intune Sync via Company Portal App:
1. Click on your Start Menu and search for the Company Portal app.

2. In the Company Portal app, click on the Settings tab in the bottom left corner of the screen. Once the settings menu pops up, click the Sync button. The sync button will turn grey and display a 'Syncing...' loading animation.
3. Once the sync is complete, you will see a message saying 'Last Sync on' with a timestamp. If a successful sync does not result in the expected change, a computer restart may be required for the sync to take effect.

2nd Method: Intune Sync via Windows Settings:
1. Click on your Start Menu and then click on the gear icon to open your computer's settings.

2. Along the left side of the settings screen, click 'Accounts'. when you are switched over the the Accounts tab, click on the 'Access work or school' option.

3. Next to your linked account you will see an Info button. Clicking on that will bring up a 'Device sync status' section with a Sync button you can click on. Click to initiate the sync.


4. Once the sync is complete, you will see a message saying "The sync was successful" with a time stamp. If a successful sync does not result in the expected change, a computer restart may be required for the sync to take effect.
