How to Log-In and Sync OneDrive Log In to OneDrive 1. Select the Start button, search for “OneDrive”, and then open it: In Windows 10, select OneDrive. 2. When OneDrive Setup starts, enter your Liberty email address and select Sign in. 3. You will be asked to provide the password for your Liberty account and authenticate using your 2-Factor device. 4. If login was successful, you should see the “Your OneDrive folder” screen. Select Next to accept the default folder location for your OneDrive files. Do NOT change the default OneDrive folder location. 5. Click the Desktop, Documents, and Pictures icons to backup these folders to OneDrive. Once selected, you should see a checkmark added to each folder, as shown with the Pictures folder in the example below. After all three are selected, click Continue. 6. You will now see a series of welcome messages which walk through some of the benefits of using OneDrive. Review each message and click Next on each one to complete the process. Set Up PC Folder Backup 1. Select the blue cloud icon in the Windows notification are. If you do not see this icon, you may need to click the show hidden icons button (^) for this to be displayed. Otherwise, you can click the start menu and type “OneDrive” to find the application on your PC. 2. Select > Settings, then Backup > Manage backup. 3. In the Back up your folders dialog, make sure the Desktop, Pictures, and Documents folders are selected. 4. Select Start backup. 5. You can close the dialog box while your files sync to OneDrive. Or, to watch your files sync, select View upload progress. If you already closed the dialog, to open the OneDrive activity center, select the blue cloud in the notification area. 6. Going forward, any files stored in your Documents, Pictures, or Desktop will automatically be backed up to the cloud. Be sure to move any important files to one of these locations to ensure your data is being backed up. See and manage your OneDrive files You're all set. Your OneDrive files will appear in File Explorer in the OneDrive folder. If you use more than one account, your personal files appear under OneDrive – Personal and your work or school files appear under OneDrive – Liberty Resources. Use OneDrive in your browser 1. Sign in to office.com. 2. Select the app launcher icon , and then select OneDrive. 3. You should see OneDrive in your web browser and have access to any files you previously uploaded to OneDrive. 4. To upload new files, simply drag and drop a file into the OneDrive browser window and the file will be uploaded.
